Job Title: Operations Manager 
Job Summary:

As Operations Manager you will be responsible for the successful delivery of all hire activities.
Including managing budgets, financial performance, planning & efficient utilisation of resources and proper governance.

Key Responsibilities:


Manage logistics by taking ownership of the company’s cloud based logistic schedule.


Ensure correct and efficient use of company transportation and human resources by forward planning.


Manage and develop in house documentation systems.


Manage and develop all Health & Safety obligations and best practises and see that they are adhered too on an on-going basis along with the preparations and approval of required H&S documentation such as Method Statements and Risk Assessments.  


Carry out management reporting associated with your role.


Be the first point of approval for warehouse and site team holiday requests, times sheets and sickness reporting.


Be responsible for return shortages and manage replacement of hire breakages.


As required be part of the proactive sales team by answering phone calls and dealing with sales enquires and have a full understanding of the in-house software systems and prepare sales quotations when required.

Coordinate the procurement and appropriate use of sub-contractors or freelancers with permanent staff. These proposals should be verified with the HPD where necessary.


Overall responsibilities to maintaining tools, onsite access equipment, transport vehicles i.e. Vans, Annual maintenance, servicing and MOT requirements.
